Seed Synergy

Our National body, the Canadian Seed Growers’ Association, has proposed to combine with the Canadian Seed Trade Association, the Commercial Seed Analysts Association of Canada, the Canadian Seed Institute, and the Canadian Plant Technology Agency to form SEEDS CANADA.

Seeds Canada will support the Canadian Seed Sector and serve as a one-stop shop for all services related to seed production, retailing, and certification.

In order to proceed, we need to hear from YOU.  Online voting regarding this proposal will open JULY 15 and will remain open through AUGUST 27, 2020.

The Manitoba Seed Growers Association board of directors has voted to endorse this project and are excited about the opportunities that will come from a less spliced, powerful Canadian Seed Industry.

For more information check your emails for the full ratification package or it can be found here:  www.seedsynergy.net

A series of Town Halls are planned in the coming weeks leading up to the close of voting on August 27th.  Click here for more information.
